FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  1. What is the first step in planning my trip to Africa?

The first step is filling out our form on the Contact Us Page.  Once you complete that, we will reach out immediately to begin the process and to learn more about your needs/interests for your trip.

  2. How does payments work?

This depends on the services we provide. It can range from a one-time consultation fee to a monthly payment plan due to organizing a trip from beginning to end. We guarantee that there will be no surprises and you will learn about total costs upfront.

  3. Do you plan tours?

No, but we do connect our travelers with the best local tour guides. Many travelers do not want to be on a tour during the entire duration of their trip. So, we plug in a couple of different tours for you to experience throughout your itinerary.

  4. Can I go on a Culture II Culture tour?

We understand that each person’s wants/needs of a trip differs from one another and often it’s best to travel in small groups, with friends and family, or solo to get a full authentic experience.

  5. Does Culture II Culture organize group trips?

Yes. Though we do not host tours, we do organize group travel experiences. Contact Us for more information.

No, we cover the Caribbean, including Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands, Jamaica, and Brazil (specially Salvador (Bahia), Brazil). We do encourage our travelers to visit Africa, at least once, if they’ve never been to the continent.

  8. How soon should I reach out?

The sooner the better. We recommend that you contact us at least 4 months to a year before your estimated departure date.
